Background: Place 12"x12" kraft cardstock over scrap paper. Use Timber Brown StazOn® to stamp the bird postcard three times across the top of the cardstock, extending off the top and sides as shown. Stamp the top 1 ¼” of the butterfly postcard across bottom of the cardstock as shown, spacing the images about ¼” apart. Stamp a row of bird postcards about 1/2" above the butterfly postcards. The rest of the page will be covered with patterned paper.
Glue 12"x4" On Butterfly Wings striped paper across the center of the page, 4 1/2" from the bottom. Glue 12"x2 1/2" On Butterfly Wings pink dot paper even with the top of the striped paper and 12"x2 1/2" On Butterfly Wings roses paper even with the bottom of the striped paper.
Photo: Place the Easy Ovals Template over a 10”x7” photo and center it under the 9"x6" oval. Trace the oval and cut out. Ink the edges with brown StazOn® and a cosmetic sponge. Mat on brown cardstock with a 1/16" border. Squeeze a small line of Tacky Glue along the perimeter of the brown mat. Lay brown vine ribbon down onto the glue, pressing it into place a few inches at a time to make sure it all sticks. Glue the photo centered to the page, 2 1/2" from the top.
Journaling: Place "Cherish" Dazzles™ on 3 1/4"x3/4" dark brown cardstock. Cut a “V” in the right end and glue even with the left edge, 2" from the top. Stamp all three postcards onto scrap paper. Cut out the center (mostly blank) areas of each of the postcards. Use these cut out pieces to mask the postcard stamps, creating blank areas to journal on. So for the bird postcard, ink the stamp with brown StazOn®. Carefully place the mask on the inked stamp, covering the inner area. Stamp onto ivory flourish paper. When you lift off the stamp, you should have a postcard with a blank inner area to journal in. Do this same stamping process with the horizontal floral postcard using On Butterfly Wings ivory flourish paper, and with the butterfly postcard using On Butterfly Wings tiny pink roses paper. Once all your postcards are stamped, print some journaling in the blank areas of the postcards. Then, use the watercolor pencils listed above to color in the images on the postcards. Dip the small paintbrush included in the watercolor pencil pack in water and dab lightly on a paper towel. Lightly brush over your colored areas to blend the colors a bit, rinsing the brush between different color families. Let your images dry. Then mount each postcard onto sturdy cardstock and cut out along the image edge. Place the three postcards over newspaper and spray with a couple coats of Gold Dust Glitter Spray. Let dry. Foam tape the postcards to the page across the bottom, overlapping the oval photo as shown.
Embellishing: Place a butterfly Dazzles™ onto brown cardstock and cut close around the Dazzles™ edge. Foam tape to the upper right of the oval photo. Place a few small butterflies on the photo itself, on the right and left sides as shown. Glue a 14" length of pink crepe ribbon across the top of the page, 1" from the top. Glue 14" of loopy pink wired ribbon across the page, 1/2" from the top. Tape the loose ends to the back of the page.
