Love Makes The World Go 'Round Card

Cut your card to 5" square and cover the card front with brown cardstock. Turn the stencil on point and place over the card front with the point centered along the bottom edge. Secure with stencil tape. Squeeze a large drop of FlitterGlu onto a cosmetic sponge and dab it on scrap paper a couple times to spread it thinly on the sponge. Dab glue through the stencil onto the cardstock until the image is covered with a very thin, tacky layer (reapply glue to the sponge as needed). Remove the stencil and apply Mega Flakes. Gently spread the flakes around and press into place with your fingertips. Rub Scoochy Foam over the image to remove the excess flakes. Cut along the diagonal edges of the design leaving 1/16” borders, creating a pointed card front. Glue 5"x1/2" metallic gold paper across the top of the card, 1/2" from the top. Use the Design Tool Kit #7 Template to trace, cut out and assemble a paper bow using metallic gold paper. Add pieces of 3D Zots™ to "stuff" the middle ‘knot’ of the bow and stack small pieces of foam tape inside the bow loops (this will help the bow keep its shape in case the card gets smashed.)

Die cut a 1 5/8” scalloped circle from ivory cardstock and stamp "Love makes the world go 'round" in the center. Die cut a 1 7/8” circle from brown cardstock and glue the ivory circle to the center. Glue to the card just below the gold metallic bow as shown.

Inside: Cut 5" square brown cardstock. Use Mega Flake to stencil the woven lattice image on point as before, extending down 3" from the top (use the same process as for the front). Glue to the inside of the card. Die cut a 1 5/8” scalloped circle from ivory cardstock and stamp "I Love You" in the center. Die cut a 1 7/8” circle from brown cardstock and glue the ivory circle in the center. Mat this on metallic gold paper with a 1/16" border. Cut two 1 1/4"x1/2" gold metallic papers. Cut a “V” in one short end of each and glue the opposite short ends to the back of the matted sentiment, extending from the bottom (like a prize ribbon). Glue this to the top right as shown.
