Let Your Dreams Take Flight Card
Card front: Place your card with the fold on the left. Cut a piece of white cardstock to 4 3/4"x6 3/8". Peel off the Dazzles™ flying owl and place it on any fabric (your clothing works) or your hand, and remove it a couple times to weaken the adhesive (you'll be removing it from the card after sponging on the ink). Place the flying owl in the top right corner of the cardstock piece, extending off the cardstock as shown. Do the same with the other owl Dazzles&trade,; placing them as shown. For the owls sitting on the branches, cut the “branch” (border Dazzles™) and place on either side of the owls.
Once all the Dazzles™ are placed, start sponging the colored ink over the Dazzles&trade,; using a clean sponge for each color. For the background, use Blue Iris. For the greeting and top right owl, use Dark Peony. For the other owls, use Sea Crystal. Blend the colors slightly all over as desired. Peel off all Dazzles™ to reveal the white design underneath (you can put them back on the sheet to reuse them on a different project!). Place the top half of the cardstock piece in the Diamond Metal Plate embossing folder and run it through your machine. Take it out and place the bottom half of the cardstock in the embossing folder, matching up the edge of the embossed pattern to make it continuous. Remove the cardstock from the embossing folder and glue it centered on the front of the card.
Card inside: Peel off the owl face Dazzles™ and remove some of the stickiness as before. Place it centered on the card, about 1/2" from the top. Sponge all 3 ink colors over the owl as shown, and remove the Dazzles™.
