Love Makes a House a Home Card
Card front: Follow the package instructions to assemble your blank Label Swing Die-Cut Card with the label at the bottom. Use the package pattern to cut out a small label shape from Family Ties blue paper. Rotate the label shape to fit the label on the card. Cover the bottom 5/8" of the label shape with Family Ties black paper, trimming to fit. Place Platinum Jewel Border Dazzles™ along the right and left (straight) edges of the label as shown. Glue label to the center of the swinging label. Use the package pattern to cut out the shape to fit the front panel from Family Ties blue houses paper. Glue a 1" wide Family Ties red flourish paper across the top of the blue shape, 3/4" from the top. Glue red metallic ribbon across the center of the red flourish strip. Place Platinum Jewel Border Dazzles™ along the edges of the red metallic ribbon and the red flourish strip as shown. Place a long piece of Border Dazzles™ along the left edge of the blue houses paper. Glue the paper to the card.
Stamp and emboss a house on smooth white cardstock. Use Spectrum Noir™ pens CR11 and DR7 to color in the red parts of the house as shown. Use BG4 & BG6 to color in the gray areas as shown. Trim around the house, leaving a 1/16" border. Foam tape to the center of the label.
Card inside: Open card to the inside. Cut 7/8"x2 1/2" blue paper and place a wide Platinum Jewel Border Dazzles™ along the middle, trimming to fit. Glue to the upper part of the "spine." Cut 3/4"x7/8” of blue paper and place the same Border Dazzles™ along the middle, trimming to fit. Glue to the bottom of the spine. Use the package pattern to cut out a large label shape from black/blue tile paper and glue to the label on the card. Cut a curvy label from ivory flourish paper using the Layered Labels cutting dies. Use VersaMark™ to stamp "Home Is Where Your Heart Is," dust with Super Fine Black Embossing Powder. Tap off the excess and set with a heat gun. Place scalloped Border Dazzles™ above and below the greeting, trimming as needed. Glue centered to the label.
Use the package pattern to cut a shape to fit the back panel out of black paper. Create the same paper/Dazzles™/ribbon border across the top of the panel as on the front panel (in step 1). Place Border Dazzles™ along the right edge of the panel. Glue to the inside card panel. Stamp and emboss "Love Makes A House A Home" on white cardstock and color in as shown, with the same colors as the house in step 2. Cut out the sentiment and mat on blue paper with a 1/16" border and foam tape to the card, 1/2" from top and right edges. Zot™ a metallic red bow to the lower right, as shown.
