Heart Flower Window Card

With the fold on the left, cover the card front with pastel multi-stripe. Trace the F1 Folk Heart onto the center of the front. Open the card on your cutting surface and cut out the traced heart with a pen knife. Chalk heavily around the outer edges with teal chalk. Chalk around the heart shaped window with light blue. Chalk the inside edge of the window with light blue (leaving a heart-shaped shadow on the inside of the card).

Cut out a C3 heart from white cardstock and print “Happy Valentine’s Day” onto the heart. Chalk over the whole heart lightly with pink chalk and chalk the edges heavily to get the shaded effect. Glue the heart to the bottom left of the card, slightly tilted to the left. Tie a small blue ribbon around the top right side of the card, stringing the ribbon through the heart shaped window. Glue in place if necessary.

Inside the card: Cut the flower stem, stem top and 2 leaves from pastel multi-stripe. Chalk over the pieces with green chalk. Cut H3, H4, and S6 hearts from pastel multi-stripe. Chalk the H3 and S6 hearts pink and the H4 heart purple. Glue the H4 heart on top of the H3 heart. Glue the pieces of the heart “flower” to the card as shown, making sure the flower will appear in the center of your heart shaped window.

White cardstock
