Stamp 6 double rose images a double rose postage stamp image and 2 round canceled postage images onto white cardstock. Let the ink dry thoroughly before outlining areas of the roses with a #51 Geranium pen and the leaves with a #43 Deep Olive Green pen. Color in the roses with a #8 Rose Pink pen and the leaves with a #175 Lime Green pen. Color the area around the roses on the postage stamp with #48 Yellow Green. Color the center of the cancelled postage image with #8 Rose Pink and the top and bottom of the circle with #43 Lime Green. Cut out the images.
Place the card with the fold on the top. Cut into a 5” square. Cover the card with green dot paper with the border along the bottom edge. Place a 4” square of tan/green rose paper with a border along the top. Mat the 2 sides and bottom with black cardstock, leaving a 1/8” border. Stamp a rose postage stamp near the top right corner. Glue the colored rose postage stamp over the image. Stamp “Carte Postal” to the left, slightly overlapping the rose stamp. Stamp a swirl to overlap the words on the left. Glue a folded length of lime green gingham ribbon under the cancelled postage circle and foam tape to the far right. Stamp “Especially for you” below with a corner stamp on each side. Glue stamped square to the top of the green card.
Evenly space and glue 3 colored double rose images across the bottom edge of the card. Foam tape 2 more images between and overlapping the first images. Glue a pink dot bow to the left side.
Inside: Mat the sides and bottom of the 3” tan/green rose square with black cardstock, leaving a 1/16” border. Glue to the center top of the card inside back. Glue a cut-out double rose image to the bottom left corner. Stamp “just Because” above and to the right. Stamp a small swirl stamp to the right. Foam tape a second cancelled postage colored image with a length of lime green gingham under it to the right of the roses.
