Celebration Embossed Metal Card
Card front: Place a blank card with the fold on the top and cover with red cardstock.
Cut a 6½”x4½” pearl metal sheet. Scribble red Gelato® on one third of it. Scribble orange on the next third, overlapping the red. Scribble yellow on the last third of the sheet, overlapping the orange. Rub it in with your finger, blending where the colors overlap. Use the embossing folder to emboss the metal sheet. Use a cotton swab dipped in acetone to remove the Gelatos® color and pearl finish from the raised words. Trim the metal to 5 7/8”x4”. Mat on Silver Linen paper with 1/8” borders. Glue to the card front.
Cut a 3”x2” silver linen. Place in the embossing folder under the word “Celebrate” and emboss. Color over the raised areas with the Spectrum Noir™ CR8 pen and then trim to 3”x1”. Glue to the right side of 6”x1” Silver Linen paper. Mat on red cardstock with 1/8” borders. Foam tape ½” from the bottom. Place Red Jewel Dazzles™ as shown.
Card inside: Emboss a 6”x4” red cardstock. Glue to the center. Emboss 4”x3” Silver Linen paper. Color the “Happy Birthday” & star with the Spectrum Noir™ CR8 pen. Cut around the “Happy Birthday” & star, leaving 1/16” borders. Glue to the center.
Acetone
