For the pocket: Trace the pocket pattern (shown at the bottom of the supply list) and cut it from kraft brown cardstock. Score on the dashed lines. Trace and cut the front paper pattern from the Artist’s Garden all-over lavender flower paper, then glue it centered on the pocket front. Place the 3¼" square die centered on the pocket front and secure with removable tape. Die cut the window.
Trace the left and right back paper patterns and cut from the Artist’s Garden corner iris paper. Glue the papers to the panels. Fold the narrow bottom flap up and apply double-sided tape to it. Place tape along the inside edge of the left back panel. Fold the right flap inward and the left flap on top of it, pressing the panels to secure them. Cut out the “handmade for you” tag and glue it to the pocket back.
Cut a 3 3/8" acetate square and glue it to the front, covering the window. Place the 3¾" scalloped die on the Artist’s Garden pink dotted paper and center the 3¼" square inside it. Secure with removable tape and die cut the paper, creating a frame. Glue the frame around the window, covering the acetate edges.
Use the glue stick to glue a doily over the pocket’s lower left corner and trim off the excess doily. Wrap a 10" length of purple crepe ribbon around the pocket, 1¼" from the bottom, and glue the ends to the front near the left edge. Make a 4-loop bow with the crepe ribbon, tie the center with thread, and glue the bow over the ribbon ends.
Glue a 2-flower sprig and a seed pod sprig to extend below the bow as shown, cutting off the excess stems. Glue a 2" flower above the bow. Cut a leaf stem into two pieces. Glue one piece under the lower flowers and one under the upper flower. Cut out the Artist’s Garden “hello you” tag and glue it as shown. Glue a 1½" flower over the upper right window corner.
For the tag booklet: Trace the tag pattern and cut three tags from dark pink cardstock, then punch a hole in each as marked on the pattern.
For the first tag, remove the Artist’s Garden table with the flower frame paper from the pad and trim the side edges to make it 3 7/8"x4¾". Glue it to a tag, then place a border Dazzles™ overlapping the image top, trimming the excess. Cut out the “you mean the world to me” tag and glue it at the lower left as shown. Cut out two anemones from the Artist’s Garden cat paper and glue them in the lower corners as shown.
For the second tag, remove the Artist’s Garden “a friend is one of the nicest…” paper from the square pad and trim it to 4"x4". Glue it centered on a tag, then place border Dazzles™ overlapping the upper and lower edges, trimming the excess.
For the third tag, remove the Artist’s Garden “let me say thank you…” paper from the square pad and trim it to 4"x4". Glue it centered on the last tag, then place border Dazzles™ overlapping the upper and lower edges, trimming the excess.
