With the fold at the left, cover the card front with lavender vellum. Ink edges black. Cut a 4 1/8” x 5 5/8” rectangle from lavender floral paper with green striped border at the bottom, ink edges, then glue centered on the card front. Stamp the flowers and swirls image across the light green faux ribbon border with black ink and let dry.
Open the card out flat, facing up on your cutting mat. Use your knife and ruler to cut a 2 ¾” square window from the card front, centered on the lavender floral paper 1” from the top of the card. Remove the lavender floral square that you cut from the card front and glue lavender vellum over it, trimming edges evenly. Ink the edges black. Stamp the round “Everlasting Happiness” image centered on the vellum-covered square with black ink and let dry. Stamp two large butterflies on remaining lavender vellum, let dry, then cut them out.
Use a clean acrylic block to mix green apple + moonlight Smooch inks to create a light green color (a little more moonlight than green apple) with a small paint brush. Apply a very small amount of the ink mixture to the open spaces of the round stamped image on vellum, the tiny butterfly, and portions of the 2 large stamped butterflies as shown. Paint in the flowers and butterfly bodies with a small amount of moonlight ink, and the flower centers with sugar berry. Let the Smooch dry (very thin layers of Smooch ink work best on vellum—if you paint on a thicker layer of ink, it will take a very long time to dry! If you want a deeper or more opaque color, add another thin layer of ink after the first has dried thoroughly). Paint in the flowers (moonlight and sugarberry) and the ends of the swirls (light green) on the faux ribbon border.
Glue a painted butterfly to the card front on the right side below the window as shown. Glue ribbon along bottom edge of the stamped faux ribbon border on the card front. Zot a bow near the lower left edge of the window.
Inside the card: Cover the inside of the card with lavender textured paper. Ink the edges of a 4 ¾” x 1 ¼” lavender floral paper with green striped border rectangle and glue centered across the inside, 2 3/8” from the bottom. Place the lavender square with the painted stamped image on the inside of the card, then make sure it’s centered inside the window on the card front when the card is closed. Glue in place.
Stamp a flowers/swirls image over the faux green ribbon border at each side of the lavender square. Glue ribbon along bottom edge of the border at each side. Glue remaining painted vellum butterfly to the inside as shown. Paint in the flowers and swirls on the border. Let dry.
