Standing Pop-Up Birthday Card
For the card: Use the circle die to cut four card bases from cardstock. Follow the die package directions to fold the scores in mountain and valley folds. Follow the directions and use the 2-sided tape to secure the folded circles into 3-dimensional pop-ups and to secure the pop-ups together.
For the front & back: Cut two 10" lengths of 1/8" red grosgrain ribbon. Use tape to secure one end of one to the front and one to the back, both near the curved edges and ¾" from the card bottom.
Die cut a quarter-circle from the corner of Sunshine & Smiles border paper and one from green textured paper. Place a narrow gold border Dazzles™ near the bottom edge of each, trimming the excess. Glue the border paper to the front and the green paper to the back. Punch out the Sunshine & Smiles die-cuts shown on the front, foam tape them in place, then decorate them with jewel Dazzles™ as shown.
For the inside sections: Die cut quarter-circles from Sunshine & Smiles papers as shown. Place a gold border Dazzles™ near the lower edge of each, trimming the excess, then glue the papers to the upper panels. Die cut eight eighth-circles from Sunshine & Smiles red flourishes paper and glue them to the lower panels.
Refer to the photographs for gluing and foam-taping the die-cuts and cutouts and placing the gold Dazzles™ on all the inside panels. When gluing an item that overlaps two of the lower panels, be sure to glue just one half of the cutout or die-cut to one of the panels so the unglued half can extend upward when the card is closed.
