Place your card topper on scrap paper. Color in the rose with the red pen, and the leaves with the green. Wipe off the excess ink from the gold areas as you go along. Color in the border with vertical lines with the green pen and the thin line border below it with the red pen, using a very light touch with the pen on both.
Glue the card topper even with the card front. Trim along the bottom edge of the swirls, leaf, and lace design leaving a thin white border. Cut a 6 1/4" length of red ribbon and glue centered across the card front, 1” from the top. Cut out the “Best Wishes” label. Use the green pen to color in the edge of the oval and the lines at each side of the oval. Foam tape centered on the ribbon.
Cut a 6 1/2"x1” strip of Metallic Gold paper and glue even with the bottom edge of the inside. Glue remaining red ribbon even with the top edge of the gold paper. Cut out the “Happy Birthday” label and place it on your scrap paper. Color in the rose and leaves as for the front. Color in the oval border with the green pen, using a light touch. Wipe off the excess ink. Glue the label centered above the ribbon.
