Instructions:
1. For the card: Die cut the arch from Seascapes & Sand sandy border cardstock with the shells along the left. Die cut the center layer from the sketched images cardstock and the front layer from the bottle and seaweed cardstock. Follow the package directions to assemble the card with the sticky tape.
2. For the chipboard accents: Remove the chipboard pieces shown from the backing. Press the Charcoal, Dove Grey, and Stormy Night ink pads once, close together, on the craft mat and lightly spritz water into the inks. Stir them together just a bit, then press the dolphin into the ink in several places, allowing it to be mottled in color. Let it dry.
3. For the seaweed chipboard, use Shamrock, Holly Green, and Khaki inks and repeat the smooshing process. For the brown ship’s wheel, use Cocoa Brown and Muddy Boots. For the coral and seashells, use the two browns and Roasted Pumpkin. Let all the pieces dry.
4. For the arch: Foam tape the blue Seascapes & Sand blank label die-cut extending above the center top. Cut out the “happy birthday” cutout and ink the edges with Cocoa Brown, then foam tape it to the label at the upper left. Glue the chipboard pieces as shown.
5. For the center & front layers: Glue the seaweed and clamshell to the center layer near the right edge as shown. For the front layer, cut out the “let’s celebrate you” cutout and ink the edges with Cocoa Bean. Mat it on caramel solid cardstock, then use the bone folder to gently curve it to fit the curve of the bendi card. Glue it to the front cardstock extending above the upper edge, then glue the dolphin and starfish as shown.
6. For the back: Glue the “smile…” tag die-cut to the back, 1½" from the top. Cut the shell banner die-cut into a 3½" and a 1¾" length, using the ends. Glue them to the back as shown, then trim the upper edges along the edge of the arch. To display the card, insert the center layer’s tab into the slit in the arch, then insert the front layer’s tab into the slit in the center layer.
