Fly Toward Your Dreams Card
Card front: Cut the card to a 5” square. Place your card with the fold on top. Cover with a Kindred Spirits border paper with the border on the top.
TECHNIQUE: Color with markers. Stamp the large butterfly/roses image on Kindred Spirits tan dot paper. Stamp the image again onto a piece of scrap paper and cut out along the edges to create a mask. Place the mask over your first stamp, and then stamp the small rose image twice on the bottom left as shown. Color the roses red, the leaves green and the swirls yellow. Go over the roses with the VersaMark™ pen and sprinkle with Kaleidoscope embossing powder. Tap off the excess and set with the heat gun. Cut out close to the image and foam tape to the bottom right. Stamp the large butterfly on tan dot paper and color with yellow, orange and brown. Cut out close to the image and foam tape over the butterfly/roses image.
Stamp the chandelier so it's hanging from the top left, and color with gray and yellow. Stamp “Fly toward your...” on 2½"x1" tan dot paper, mat on Kindred Spirits green paper with 1/8" borders and then on pink cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue 1/8" from the left, between the roses and the chandelier. Stamp the tiny butterfly and the postage stamp on tan dot paper. Color the postage stamp with yellow and brown, and the butterfly with yellow and orange, and cut out. Foam tape the tiny butterfly on the upper right of the greeting as shown. Tie a bow with sheer white swirl ribbon and Zot™ to the upper right. Foam tape the postage stamp beneath the bow as shown.
Card inside: Cut 4" square of Kindred Spirits border paper (using the inside with no border) and glue to the center. Stamp the border image twice along 5"x 7/8" tan dot paper, and glue along the bottom edge. Color the butterfly orange and yellow, and the keys gray. Stamp the chandelier hanging from the top right and color as before. Stamp the small roses and the large butterfly on tan dot paper and color as before. Emboss the roses as before. Cut out the images and foam tape near the sentiment as shown. Stamp “Just for YOU” on 2"x1" tan dot paper and mat on green paper with 1/8" borders, and then onto pink cardstock with 1/16" borders. Foam tape on the left as shown.
