Happy Birthday Gear Card

Front: Cut ivory cardstock to the same size as the Gears embossing folder and run though the embossing machine. Use the stylus and pad to apply peacock feathers and bundled sage randomly over the embossed paper. Repeat with the brown ink, giving the paper and antiqued look. Use the surface of the gold ink pad and place spots on ink on the raised areas. To create a color blocked effect, cut the embossed cardstock to 3 7/8”x4 ½” (saving the remainder for inside) and with your card with the fold on the left, glue the rectangle to the top left corner of the card. Glue 1”x4 ½” brown text Letterpress paper to the right edge and 5”x2” green tile paper across the card bottom. Ink the card edges brown.

Place lengths of On Butterfly Wings Scrapbooking Dazzles™ thin lines borders along the color blocked edges, as shown. Place “Classic Moment” Dazzles™ on the bottom left and 3 tiny butterfly Dazzles™ on the right side of the card, as shown. Back the pocket watch Dazzles™ with green and brown Letterpress papers and glue to the card, as shown. Zot™ a velvet leaf and brown, blue and ivory hydrangeas around the watch. Place a small On Butterfly Wings Scrapbooking Dazzles™ key overlapping the leaf and use a length of ¼” wide sheer coral Letterpress Ribbon to make a bow and Zot™ among the flowers, as shown.
