Party Card
Card front: Place your card with the fold on your left and trim to 4¾”x6½”. Cover with red cardstock. Use the Wind & Waves embossing folder to emboss a 4 1/8”x6” red cardstock. Ink the raised areas lightly with Fired Brick ink. Mat on white cardstock with 1/8” borders. Glue to the card front, centered.
TECHNIQUE: Isolate words from the embossing folder. Use the Birthday Words embossing folder to emboss a 4¼”x6” white cardstock. Find the words you want (saving “Happy Birthday” for the inside), and cut them from the piece. Using a different color of ink for each word, lightly ink the raised area. Cut close to the raised image, and foam tape to the card front. Place a Jewel Border Dazzles™ extending from each word as shown.
Card inside: Use the Wind & Waves embossing folder and die cutting machine to emboss a 4¼”x3½” red cardstock. Glue to the card, centered. Cut “Happy Birthday” from the white embossed cardstock from Step #2. Ink the raised area with Fired Brick red ink. Glue to the card, centered. Place Border Dazzles™ along the top and bottom edges of the red embossed paper.
