Lilacs In Bloom Thinking of You Card
For the card front: Place the card with the told at the top. Cut 6"x4½" Lilacs In Bloom flowered border paper with the border along the bottom and mat it on purple cardstock with 1/8" borders. Center the panel on the card front and secure with temporary adhesive.
Die cut a 3½"x2 7/8" rectangle from the card front, positioned near the upper left corner, and set aside the die-cut center for step 6. Remove the paper from the card front. Die cut the double diamond background from the white side of a cardstock. Trim it to 4"x3½", then glue it over the window in the card front. Return the lilac panel to the card front, and glue it in place.
Die cut a scalloped frame from purple cardstock, positioning the 3½"x2 7/8" rectangle die inside the 3 7/8"x3¼" scalloped rectangle die. Glue the frame around the window.
Cut out the Lilacs In Bloom “hello friend” square. Mat it on white cardstock, then on dark purple cardstock, both times with very narrow borders. Cut a 1¼" length of purple metallic ribbon, fold it in half, and glue it so the loop extends from behind the upper right corner of the greeting. Foam tape the greeting at the upper right, then place butterfly Dazzles™ as shown.
For the inside: Cut 6"x4½" Lilacs In Bloom lavender dotted paper. Cut 6"x1 1/8" Lilacs In Bloom tapestry border paper and mat it on purple cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue it across the dotted paper, ½" from the bottom. Cut a 1/8" wide strip from the edge of the butterfly Dazzles™ material and attach it near the bottom of the tapestry border, trimming the excess. Glue the paper centered on the inside.
Die cut a 3 7/8"x3¼" scalloped rectangle from dark purple cardstock and glue the rectangle die-cut from step 2 in the center. Glue it to the inside so the die-cut is positioned behind the window when the card is closed.
