Free Spirit
Place your card with the fold on your left. Glue 4 1/8”x5” Fancy Feather dark purple patterned paper centered and 3/8” from the top. Take a separate piece of white cardstock and rub with Distress Ink Picked Raspberry over a large area of cardstock. Cut the picked raspberry rubbed cardstock into three pieces: 1½”x4 1/8&rdquo,; 2¼”x1 3/8&rdquo,; and 2¼”x2 1/8”.
Working with one piece at a time, using the edge of the VersaMark™ ink pad, rub in a random pattern on top of the picked raspberry cardstock. Pour small amounts of Zing! Embossing Powder frost, leaf, and lavender onto the cardstock making sure to create a thick layer. Ink your stamp several times with VersaMark™ and keep it close by so that you can work quickly. Heat emboss the powder from UNDERNEATH the cardstock (if you try to heat emboss on the top your powder will just blow away). Once it has mostly melted set it down and heat the top until it looks melted, then quickly press down into the powder with your inked Feather stamp holding it down for at least 10 seconds. Then remove. Repeat steps with the remaining picked raspberry inked cardstock.
Cut Fancy Feathers multi feather patterned paper into two pieces: 1½”x3/8” and 2¼”x 7/8”. Glue the cut pieces onto the dark purple patterned paper as shown. Ink edges with Distress Ink seedless preserves. Using just the “Free” portion of the Feathers “Free Spirit” stamp, ink with Distress Ink seedless preserves and stamp 3/8” from the bottom and 1” from the right. Continue stamping to the left as ink runs out on the stamp as shown. Stamp the “Spirit” portion of the Feathers “Free Spirit&rdquo,; stamp next to “free” as shown. Stamp random small diamonds onto the embossed squares.
Inside Card: Using Feathers “Let your dreams take flight” stamp in the center using Distress Ink seedless preserves.
