Blue & Purple Get Well Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left. Open it and cut 1½" off the right front edge. Cover the front with Citrus purple stripes paper, gluing just the right edge in place. Glue the green ribbon to the stripes piece, 1" from the left edge, tucking the ends under the paper. Glue the gingham ribbon on the green ribbon, then finish gluing the purple stripes paper.
Glue a 4"x3" Citrus lime textured paper and a 3"x2" Citrus blue linen paper to cardstock. Punch a large oval from the lime and a small oval from the blue. Stamp a large green oval centered on the green oval and ink the edges green. Stamp a small purple oval centered on the blue oval with “thinking of you” in the center. Ink the edges purple, then foam tape it to the green oval. Glue to the front, overlapping the ribbons as shown.
Copy and size the flowers as follows: one 1½", one 1", and one 7/8" blue flower; one 1¼", one ¾", and one ½" purple flower. Print on white paper and cut out. Gently curl the petal ends upward. Foam tape the largest purple flower on the largest blue flower, insert a brad in the center, and glue as shown. Stack the smallest purple flower on the smallest blue flower, insert a brad, and glue to the greeting at the lower right. Insert a brad in each of the remaining flowers and glue as shown.
For the inside: Cut a 2"x6½" Citrus blue linen paper and mat the left long side on Citrus purple stripes paper with a ¼" border. Ink the edges purple and glue along the right edge. Copy and size the sentiment to 3½"x1½". Print on white, trim, and ink the edges purple. Mat on Citrus lime textured paper with a 1/32" border. Copy and size a blue flower to 1" and a purple flower to ¾". Print, cut out, stack, and attach to the sentiment with a brad. Glue the sentiment to the inside, hidden behind the ovals when the card is closed.
