Simple Joys Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left and cover the front with cardstock. Cut 4¾"x6¼" Lemonade Stand yellow border paper with the border near the bottom and glue centered on the front. Use the tool kit to trace and cut the scalloped oval from Lemonade Stand blue dotted paper, then cut in half lengthwise. Mat half on cardstock with 1/16" borders.
Trace and cut a scalloped tag from Lemonade Stand green tiles paper, then cut to 3½" long. Mat on cardstock with 1/32" borders, then glue to the blue piece, positioned near the right end, with the straight edges aligned. Place a Dazzles™ zigzag border along the upper edge of the scalloped oval and the wider border ¼" below it. Wrap twine across the scalloped piece twice, gluing the ends to the back, then glue the constructed border to the front as shown.
Use thread to tie the twine strands together over the green tag. Make a twine bow with four loops and tie the center with thread. Knot the tails, then use tape to secure to the tag as shown. Place Dazzles™ “simple joys” on the green tag. Punch out a yellow flower and two leaf die cuts and remove the nibs. Tape to the bow center. Cut out the “thanks” greeting and glue to the border, then place the Dazzles™ heart and rhinestones as shown.
For the inside: Cut 4¾"x3½" Lemonade Stand green tiles paper and mat on cardstock with 1/16" borders, then glue centered on the inside. Punch out the flowered tag, flowers, and leaf die cuts and remove the nibs. Cut out “you are too kind” sentiment and mat on cardstock with 1/32" borders. Tie twine onto the tag, then glue all the pieces to the inside, overlapped as shown. Place small Dazzles™ flowers in the larger flower centers, a heart on the sentiment, and the rhinestones as shown.
