Boy’s Birthday Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold at the top and cover with cardstock. Cut 5¾"x4¼" Fun tan gears paper and mat on Fun brown writing paper with 1/16" borders. Cut a 7/8"x4 3/8" fun blue grid paper and mat the long edges on cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue to the tan piece, 1" from the right end.
Cut 3"x2¼" Fun orange grid paper and mat on Fun brown writing paper with 1/16" borders. Stamp a brown dino near the left end. Stamp green leaves in the upper left corner, then fill in the leaves with green Smooch and let dry.
Stamp a brown dino on Fun green gears paper and cut out. Fill in his spots with orange Smooch and let dry. Foam tape the green dino over the orange one. Glue to the tan piece, positioned over the border. Stamp brown dino tracks up the border as shown. Wrap rickrack over the constructed piece, gluing the ends on the back. Glue the constructed front centered on the card.
Punch the labels from Fun blue grid and brown writing papers. Glue the blue oval to the brown rectangle. Stamp brown “roar” in the center with a star on each side. Foam tape to the front as shown. Knot a 2½" rickrack piece and glue above the label. Stamp two brown bones on Fun blue grid paper, cut out, and glue as shown. Fill in the stars with orange Smooch and let dry.
For the inside: Cut 6½"x4" cardstock and glue centered on the inside. Cut 6"x3¼" Fun orange grid paper and mat on Fun brown writing paper with 1/16" borders. Glue centered on the blue cardstock. Print the sentiment on Fun blue grid paper and cut to 3½"x2½". Mat on Fun brown writing paper with 1/16" borders, then glue to the right end of the orange piece. Stamp two brown bones and stars as shown.
Stamp a brown dino and bone on the left end of the orange section and six green branches in the upper left corner. Stamp a brown dino on Fun green gears paper, cut out, and glue over the orange dino.
