Thank You 3-Step Pop-Up Card
For the card: Cut 10"x6½" green cardstock, then follow the pattern to score and cut it. Crease the long score line in a valley fold, then crease the next three short scores in mountain folds and the last three short scores in valley folds. Turn the cardstock face down. Place double-sided tape along the edges of the outer sections.
Turn the cut piece with the long score on the right. Remove the backing from the tape on this right section. Place the cut cardstock on the card inside, aligning the right outer edges, and press in place. Remove the backing from the tape on the left end. Attach to the inside card front, aligning the left outer edges.
For the front: Cut 4 7/8"x6 3/8" Hopscotch circles paper and 4 7/8"x1 5/8" Hopscotch striped paper. Mat the long edges of the striped paper on green cardstock with 1/16" borders, then glue it to the circles paper, ½" from the bottom. Glue the paper centered on the card front.
Cut 3½"x4¾" Hopscotch orange paper and place the Dazzles™ border 1/8" from the left edge, trimming the ends. Place the large bee’s nest on Hopscotch red dotted paper and trim along the edges. Place the 2½"x2" Dazzles™ bee’s body on yellow plaid paper and the wings on platinum vellum and cut out. Glue both as shown.
Place two small Dazzles™ bees on Hopscotch yellow plaid paper, cut out, and glue as shown. Mat the paper on white cardstock with 1/16" borders, then glue to the front, ½" from the top. Trace and cut the banner pattern from Hopscotch green dotted paper. Place “hello” Dazzles™ on it, then glue to the border as shown.
For the inside: Cut two 1"x6½" Hopscotch striped papers. Mat the right edge of one and the left edge of the other on white cardstock, each with a 1/16" border. Glue the right-bordered cardstock along the left edge and the other along the right edge.
Cut two 1 7/8"x2 1/8" Hopscotch yellow plaid papers and glue to the top and bottom pop-up squares. Cut one 1 7/8"x1 7/8" yellow plaid paper and glue to the center square. Place the Dazzles™ shown on the Hopscotch papers and vellum as shown and cut each out. Glue to the squares as shown.
Place “thank you” Dazzles™ to the right panel in the upper center. Place the Dazzles™ shown on the Hopscotch papers as shown, then cut out and glue around the words.
