Turquoise Feathers & Butterflies Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold at the top. Follow the paint kit manufacturer’s directions to color the Color Me™ diagonal feather card topper, splattering the Icicle ink on it instead of using a brush. Use the heat tool to dry it. If the topper is a bit warped, place it overnight under a heavy stack of books.
Glue the topper to the card front. Place a 2 1/4" and a 1 1/8" Dazzles™ butterfly on onyx paper and cut around the edges. Use the Blue Jewel Dazzles™ to decorate each as shown. Use tape to attach the bodies and foam tape to attach the wings to the front as shown. Place swirls below each butterfly.
For the inside: Repeat the coloring process on the Color Me™ curved feather topper as for the front, but brushing the Icicle ink across it instead of splattering it, and omitting the Shindig ink. Dry with the heat tool and flatten under books if necessary. Cut out the curved edge and trim the straight edge to make the topper 5 7/8"x4 3/8".
Glue the topper to the inside, next to the fold. Cut out the “sometimes you have to fall…” label and spritz lightly with True Turquoise. Let dry, then foam tape 1 1/8" from the left edge. Place a 1 1/8" and a ¾” Dazzles™ butterfly on onyx paper, cut out, and decorate with Blue Jewel Dazzles™ as shown. Use tape and foam tape to attach just left of the sentiment, then place a swirl below it.
