Double-M Friendship Card
For the card: Trace and cut the card center panel from brown cardstock. Transfer the cutting and scoring lines to the panel, then score, cut, and fold as directed.
Trace and cut two outer panels from brown cardstock. Score on the line on each, then use tape to attach the outer panels to the back side edges of the center panel. (The center panel will be enclosed in the outer panels when the card is closed.)
For the front: Cut 4 1/8"x5 7/8" Steampunk teal paper. Cut 2"x5 7/8" Steampunk light gold tapestry paper and mat the long edges on yellow cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue to the teal paper, ½" from the left edge. Place a Dazzles™ border along each edge of the strip and trim the excess.
Punch out the Steampunk 3½"x1½" label die-cut and remove the nibs. Cut a 2" and a 4" rust ribbon. Insert the short ribbon through the right label hole and the long ribbon through the left hole. Glue the label to the teal paper, 7/8" from the bottom and ½" from the left edge. Wrap the ribbons to the back and glue, then glue the teal paper centered on the front.
Cut out the Steampunk “hello” label. Punch out the remaining Steampunk die-cuts shown and remove the nibs. Foam tape the dress form along the left edge, then foam tape “hello” to the label, overlapping the dress form stand. Foam tape the butterfly and dial as shown.
Cut two 3" rust ribbons and tie a knot in the center of each. Glue one over each label hole. Tie a turquoise ribbon bow and glue to the neck, then place a Dazzles™ “necklace” below it. Place the remaining Dazzles™ as shown.
For the inside: Trace the side paper pattern and cut two from Steampunk gears paper. Place a Dazzles™ border on each paper near the side edges and trim the excess. Glue the papers centered on the side panels as shown.
Cut two 7/8"x3 3/8" and two 1 3/8"x3 3/8" Steampunk light gold tapestry papers and glue to the center panels as shown. Place Dazzles™ borders near the outer edges of the two narrow panels and trim the excess.
Cut out the “your friendship is timeless” label. Punch out the die-cuts used on the center panels and remove the nibs. Glue the die-cuts to the panels as shown.
