For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left. Cut 4¾"x6¼" Painted Flowers pink paper and glue centered on the front. Place the template on the front, positioning the butterfly window as shown, and trace the window. Cut it out. Place the card front face down on the iris-folding layering guide, placing the square on point in the center, and use stencil tape to secure the edges.
Cut twenty 1"x3½" strips each of Painted Flowers blue and lavender papers. Fold a long edge ¼" under on each strip and flatten with the bone folder. Follow the directions on the template to place folded strips on the back of the window, securing the ends with cellophane tape. For this design, alternate the papers as you follow the numbers. Cut 1¼"x1¼" Painted Flowers green paper and place face down over the center hole. Tape the edges. Carefully remove the stencil tape and trim any excess paper and cellophane tape ends along the edge of the card front.
On the front, insert the brad through the center square and secure. Use the pen to draw stitching lines around the window edges. Punch out the die cuts shown and remove the nibs. Foam tape the butterflies and two flowers as shown. Glue the third flower extending from under the largest flower. Cut the border rhinestones into shorter pieces and place near the butterflies as shown. Place single rhinestones on the butterflies and two flowers as shown.
For the inside: Cut Painted Flowers pink and blue papers to cover the inside panels. Glue the pink paper to the inside left panel and the blue paper to the inside right panel. Punch out the frame, flower cluster, and yellow butterfly die cuts and remove the nibs. Glue the frame to the blue paper center, then stamp “you are one of a kind” and “my kind” through the frame as shown. Glue the flowers at the lower right and foam tape the butterfly at the upper left. Place single rhinestones as shown.
