Flowers & Frame Friendship Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold at the top and cover the front with purple cardstock. Cut 6¼"x4¾" Painted Flowers green paper and glue centered on the front. Cut 3"x4" Painted Flowers blue paper and mat on blue cardstock with 1/32" borders. Glue to the front, ½" from the left edge.
Place the 5"x3" rectangle die face up on a cutting pad and use a piece of tape to hold it in position. Place the 3 5/8"x1¾" rectangle centered in the first die and tape it in place. Follow the die cutting machine instructions to assemble the cutting pad layers and die cut the rectangles from purple cardstock. Remove the center die cut and set aside for another project.
Add foam tape to the back of the purple frame. Cut 3¾"x2" lilac cardstock and center it behind the frame. Stamp “you are one of a kind” on the lilac cardstock, near the right end, then glue it and foam tape the frame over it as shown.
Punch out the papier tole flower layers used here and cut out the pink layering example. Assemble the flowers as shown, placing foam tape between the layers. Trace the leaf patterns and cut from Painted Flowers green paper. Glue the flowers and leaves to the frame, along the left and bottom. Place a rhinestone in each flower center. Make a ribbon bow with four loops and tie the center with thread. Glue extending from under the flowers at the lower left.
For the inside: Cut 6½"x4" Painted Flowers green paper and glue centered on the inside. Cut 4½"x3" Painted Flowers blue paper and mat on blue cardstock with 1/32" borders, then glue centered on the green paper. Die-cut a 3 5/8"x1¾" rectangle from lilac cardstock and stamp “my kind” in the center. Glue to the center of the blue paper. Punch the flowers shown and cut two leaves from Painted Flowers green paper. Glue the leaves and flowers and place rhinestones as shown.
