Ferns Pop-Out Heart Card
For the card front: Fold the card following package directions. Cut two 2½"x6" Gold papers and glue one to each front panel. Cut two 2 3/8"x5 7/8" Mystic Garden black handwriting papers. Place thin line Dazzles™ near the upper and lower edges as shown, then glue a paper centered on each front panel.
Cut 3½"x4¼" Mystic Garden blue floral paper and mat on cardstock with 1/16" borders. Cut in half vertically to create two 1 7/8" wide panels. Glue centered on the front with the cut edges aligned along the card front edges.
Die cut a 5 1/8"x2 7/8" label from Mystic Garden tan/green mesh paper and mat on cardstock with 1/16" borders. Turn vertically and stamp “be kind,” “dream big,” and “laugh often” near the top as shown. Color the word squares with the glitter marker.
Cut the ferns and two ½" butterflies off the sheet of Fancies and place on the craft sheet. Use the palette knife to lift a pea-sized portion of Green-Yellow wax paste from the jar and place on the craft sheet. Use your finger to rub the paste over a fern, applying a light coat. Use a paper towel to rub off some paste, leaving some paste in place.
Repeat to cover the fern with the Emerald wax paste, again rubbing some paste off with a paper towel. Set aside to dry. Cover the remaining ferns with both green wax pastes and the butterflies with Rose Quartz. When dry, glue a large fern to the label at the lower right and foam tape a small fern over the bottom as shown.
Glue a pink butterfly to the label at the upper left and place the Dazzles™ butterflies on the label as shown. Glue the left half of the label to the left front so the label is centered when the card is closed.
For the inside: Cut two 2½"x6" Mystic Garden blue dotted papers. Glue to the inside panels, then turn the card over and use the pen knife to cut away the slit in the center, making sure to cut the slits at the top and bottom. Place thin line Dazzles™ near the outer panel edges as shown, trimming the excess.
Cover the heart die-cut with Mystic Garden pink collage paper, trimming along the edges. Die cut a 4¼"x2 3/8" label from Mystic Garden light blue paper and mat on cardstock with 1/16" borders. Stamp “may every day…” near the left end, then glue the label to the heart near the top. Color “ever after” with the marker.
