Fold-Out Stand-Up Birthday Card
For the card: Cut 12"x5" teal cardstock and turn horizontally. Score at 5½", 7½", 9½", and 10¾" from the left end. Accordion-fold on the score lines, beginning with a valley fold on the 5½" score.
For the stand, cut 8¼"x2" teal cardstock and place horizontally. Score at 2¾", 3¾", 4¾" and 7½". Fold the 3¾" score in a valley fold and the remaining score lines in mountain folds. Glue the ¾" end flap to the back of the 2¾" end section. Press the folds to flatten the stand, then glue to the back of the 5½" section of the card, centered on the 5½" fold line.
For the front panel: Cut 5 3/8"x1 1/8" Pretty Posies tan paper and 5 3/8"x 3/8" Pretty Posies blue floral paper. Mat the long edges of the floral paper on yellow cardstock with 1/32" borders, then glue to the tan paper, ¼" from the top edge. Glue the tan paper to the first panel.
Trace and cut tag 2 from Pretty Posies blue tiles paper and mat on teal cardstock with 1/32" borders. Stamp “start each day…” on it, then insert a ½" brad in the end, wrapping the red ribbon around the prongs before flattening the brad. Glue to the left front, extending ½" above the fold. Place Dazzles™ and a rhinestone as shown.
For the center panel: Cut 5 3/8"x1 7/8" Pretty Posies green/blue tiles paper and glue centered on the panel. Trace and cut tag 3 from Pretty Posies orange paper and mat on yellow cardstock with 1/32" borders. Stamp “you are the perfect…” on the tag. Knot the turquoise ribbon and glue to the tag top, then glue the tag to the center panel on the right end. Place Dazzles™ and rhinestones as shown.
For the back panel: Cut 5 3/8"x5 3/8" Pretty Posies blue floral paper and glue centered on the panel. Cut 3¼"x3¼" Pretty Posies red lace paper and mat on yellow cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue to the panel, 5/8" from the right edge. Cut 1"x5 3/8" Pretty Posies tan/red paper and mat the long edges on teal cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue to the floral paper, 5/8" from the left edge.
Trace and cut tag 1 from Pretty Posies blue tapestry paper and mat on yellow cardstock with 1/32" borders. Stamp “from morning ‘til night…” on the tag, then glue it to the panel as shown. Wrap the center of the dotted ribbon with thread and tie into a bow. Glue the ribbon to the tag top, then place the Dazzles™ and rhinestones as shown.
