Stenciled Roses Birthday Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left. Cut 4 7/8"x6 3/8" Mirage yellow paper and glue centered on the front. Cut 4¼"x5" watercolor paper and place on the craft sheet. Place the largest rose Dazzles™ in the lower left corner. Place a 1¾" rose to the right of the first rose. Cut the stem off the stemmed rose, then place it climbing up the left side.
Holding the Fuchsia Color Burst bottle horizontally over the paper, lightly tap on the bottom to sprinkle granules over the paper. Repeat with the Turquoise Color Burst, then with the Rich Gold Pixie Powder.
Spritz the paper heavily with water and let the colors spread. After a minute, place a folded paper towel over the wet surface to dab up the excess water and color. Remove the paper towel, then remove Dazzles™ and set them aside for step Let the paper dry.
Mat the panel on white cardstock with 1/8" borders, then on black cardstock with 1/16" borders. Wrap a 6" ribbon across it, ½" from the bottom, and glue the ends to the back. Foam tape the panel to the center front.
Make a 4-loop bow and tie the center with thread. Glue to the first ribbon, 1¼" from the left card edge. Glue a ½" blue button to the bow center, then tie a thread shoestring bow and glue to the button. Glue pearls to the panel as shown.
For the inside: Cut 5"x5¼" Mirage red/black mesh paper and mat the 5" edges on black cardstock with 1/8" borders. Glue centered on the inside. Cut 4¼"x3¾" watercolor paper and spritz heavily with water. Sprinkle Fuchsia Color Burst and Gold Pixie Powder over the paper, then let dry.
Place the largest flower Dazzles™ from the front on the panel in the lower right corner, then place the stemmed rose from the front just to the left of it. Place a border Dazzles™ across the bottom of the panel, trimming the excess. Place “celebrate” and the heart Dazzles™ as shown.
