Tulip Fold Happy Spring Card
For the card: Cut 12"x6" ivory cardstock and place horizontally. Score vertically 3" and 9" from the left end. On each long side, measure and mark the 6" point. Score from the mark on the top edge down to the lower right corner. Score from the same mark to the lower left corner. Score from the mark on the bottom edge to the upper right and upper left corners.
Crease the vertical scores in valley folds and the diagonal scores in mountain folds. With the cardstock flat, bring the outer edges to the center, pinching the upper and lower valley scores to the inside.
For the front: Trace and cut the paper pattern from Roses & Lace border paper twice, placing the lace border along the longest edges. Glue the triangles to the left and right front panels. Open the card.
For the inside: Cut two 4"x4" Roses & Lace green lace papers. Glue one square to the inside center. Cut the second square in half diagonally and glue one to each triangular end. Cut two 2¾"x2¾" squares each from Roses & Lace maroon diamonds and green diamonds papers. Cut each square in half diagonally, then glue the triangles to the panels as shown.
Place four Dazzles™ butterflies on the pink Dazzles™ glitter sheet and cut along the edges. Place the blossoms of two Dazzles™ flowers on the fuchsia Dazzles™ sheet and the leaves on Roses & Lace green lace paper and cut along the edges.
Place the Dazzles™ bunny shown on Roses & Lace pink/yellow paper and cut out. Use a pink pencil to color the bunny’s bow. Cut two Dazzles™ borders to fit across the bottom near the point on the inside center panel. Glue and place all the Dazzles™ as shown.
For the belly band: Close the card. Cut 10"x1 1/8" ivory cardstock and place the center on the card’s center back, then wrap the ends to the front. Overlap the ends and glue, making sure the band slips on and off the card easily. Cut two 4 ¼"x1" Roses & Lace maroon diamonds paper and glue one centered on the band front and one on the band back.
Trace and cut an Alice 2 label from Roses & Lace yellow lace paper, then mat on gray cardstock with 1/16" borders. Trace and cut a Daisy label from Roses & Lace green lace paper, then glue centered on the yellow label. Glue the label to the belly band front at an angle as shown.
Place the Dazzles™ shown on the Roses & Lace papers and Dazzles™ sheets as shown. Color the bunny’s bow with a pink pencil. Glue and place all the Dazzles™ on the label as shown.
