Double Wrap-Over Birthday Wishes Card
For the card: Close the card, then fold the front right edge back to the fold, creating an "S-fold" card. Cut a 5¾"x6 3/8" Ruby Rose gray border paper with the border along the left. Cut it in half vertically, then glue the papers centered on the front and middle panels as shown. Cut 4 7/8"x6 3/8" Ruby Rose mauve/gray diamonds paper and glue it to the inside back panel.
Cut two 10"x1¼" cardstock strips and place them horizontally. Score each 5" and 7½" from the left end. Crease the 5" scores in mountain folds and the 7½" scores in valley folds. Turn the strips over and place double-sided tape on 2½" of each end.
Attach the right end of one strip to the inside back, aligning it with the top and right edges. Attach the left end to the front, again aligning the outer edges. Repeat with the second strip, aligning it with the bottom and outer edges of the card.
Cut two 4 7/8"x1 1/8" and four 2 3/8"x1 1/8" Ruby Rose small floral papers. Place scalloped border Dazzles™ near the upper and lower edge of each paper, trimming the excess. Glue the papers centered on the appropriate panels of the cardstock strips.
Decorating the front: Place the “wishes” and “happy birthday” circle frame Dazzles™ on Silver paper and cut along the edges. Use double-sided tape to attach the “happy birthday” frame to the upper strip near the fold. Attach the “wishes” frame to the front at the lower left. Place the bird, leaf, and candle Dazzles™ on the front as shown.
Use double-sided tape to attach a 1½" bloom in the lower left corner. Attach five buttons to the front as shown. Tie two thread bows and glue to two of the buttons. Hold two thread strands together and knot. Trim the ends, then glue the knot to a button. Repeat for the remaining two buttons.
