Thank You Swirl Card
Open your card to the inside with the fold running horizontal and cut 1 1/2” off the top edge. Close your card and place with the fold at the top, and the cut edge on the front, at the bottom. Cover with blue gingham paper and ink the lower edge French Blue. Cut a 6 1/2”x2 1/2” pink floral paper, tear a 1/2” wide strip off the lower edge and place on the fold. Stamp a row of “Thank You” images in blue across the top of the card.
Cut one 8 1/2”x11” lavender cardstock, and one 8 1/2”x11” blue. Journal the words “Thank You” across the top 6” (about 12 rows of text) of each cardstock. Following the manufacturer’s directions, use the die-cutting machine and cutting dies to create one set of swirl die-cuts from the “Thank You” lavender, and one from the blue. Ink the edges Pastel Pink and blue, respectively. Place a large and small lavender swirl set off of the lower edge of your card, “Thank You” side up. Back with the blue swirl set, matching the pattern.
Stamp a pink “Thank You” on a 1 1/2”x7/8” white cardstock. Ink the edges blue and foam tape over a 5” length of memory thread, with ends coiled.
For the inside: Cover with green paper and ink the lower edge pink. Cut a 6 1/2” x3” pink floral paper, tear a 1/2” wide strip off the upper and lower edges and center on your card. Use the cardstock with the swirl evacuated areas as a template to sponge two pink ink swirls on the upper area.
Stamp a row of “Thank You” images in pink across the center of a 6 1/2”x1” blue gingham paper and foam tape over the pink strip. Stamp a blue “Thank You” on a 1 1/2”x7/8” white cardstock. Ink the edges pink and foam tape over a 5” length of memory thread, with ends coiled.
