Fly Toward Your Dreams Card
Card front: Follow the instructions on the template to create a center step card base from sturdy black cardstock. Use the patterns on the template to cover the center front with On Butterfly Wings striped paper, the bottom front with On Butterfly Wings pink dot paper, and the side risers with On Butterfly Wings pink roses paper. Cut a curved label shape from On Butterfly Wings ivory swirl paper using the cutting dies and a die cutting machine. Stamp "Fly toward your dreams on butterfly wings" in the center of the label with VersaMark™ ink. Heat emboss the greeting using Black Super Fine embossing powder. Mat the label on black suede paper with a 1/16" border. Glue to the top left of the card center, trimming the top and left side as shown. Place Brass Jewel Border Dazzles™ along the left and right edges of the center panel, trimming to fit as shown. Place borders on the left edge of the left riser and the right edge of the right riser as shown. Create a black dot border alternating small and medium Black Jewel Dazzles™ included in the On Butterfly Wings Scrapbooking Dazzles™. Place the dots border to the right of the greeting, across the center front piece 1" from the bottom, and across the bottom front, 1/4" from the bottom as shown. Place a narrow Brass Jewel Border Dazzles™ across the center front directly below the middle Black Jewel Dazzles™ dot border.
Place the phonograph Dazzles™ on black suede paper and trim close to the Dazzles™ edge. Foam tape it to the card on the bottom right as shown. Do the same with a medium butterfly in the bottom left and a small butterfly just above the phonograph, as shown. Tie a small sheer pink swirl bow and attach it to the bottom left of the greeting with Zots™.
Card inside: Cut a 4 1/2" x1" strip of black suede paper and glue it across the top section on the inside. Place a gold flourish border Dazzles™ (from the On Butterfly Wings Scrapbooking Dazzles™) across the center of the black suede, trimming to fit. Trim if necessary. Glue 6 1/4"x3 3/4" of pink roses paper to the main section as shown. Glue 6 1/4"x1" brown pattern paper across the bottom. Place Brass Jewel Border Dazzles™ along the right and left edges as shown. Place the Dazzles™ typewriter on black suede paper and trim around, leaving a 1/16" border. Glue to the bottom left as shown. Make a black dot border (the same as on the front) along the top of the brown strip as shown. Cut a curved label from pink dot, using the cutting dies. Turn the label vertically and emboss "Just for You" in black just below the center. Mat on black suede with a 1/16" border. Place a gold small flourish below the sentiment. Cut off the top of the label 1/2" above the words. Glue to the card in the upper right as shown.
