Birthday 4-Fold Folder
Constructing the folder: Unfold the folder. Fold the tabs on the pockets inward, then fold the pockets upward. Use tape to attach the pocket tabs to the card base. Close the folder.
For the card front: Glue the green ribbon centered on the folder back with the ends extending beyond the sides. Cut two 3¼"x4 1/8" Mystic Garden blue floral papers. Glue one centered on the back over the ribbon and glue the second panel centered on the front.
Trace and cut the flap paper pattern from Mystic Garden blue dotted paper and glue centered on the flap. Die cut a 1¾"x3½" tag from Mystic Garden blue paper, then stamp the matching tag image on it with Splash ink. Stamp “just for you” near the top with Jet Black.
Attach the aqua sheer ribbon to the tag, then glue the tag angled on the front as shown. Cut a 3¼"x2" rose off the Foiled Fancies sheet and sand the raised areas. Glue to the front and place the Dazzles™ as shown.
For the inside panels: Unfold the folder once. Cut a 3¼"x4 1/8" panel each from Mystic Garden black and pink collage papers. Glue the pink paper to the left panel and the black paper to the right panel.
Die cut a 1¾"x3½" tag from Mystic Garden pink dotted paper and stamp the matching image on it with Dark Peony. Stamp “thinking of you” in the center with Jet Black, then attach the maroon ribbon to it. Glue to the black panel, angled as shown.
Cut a 3¼"x2" rose from the Foiled Fancies sheet and sand, then glue to the pink panel as shown. Die cut a small butterfly from Gold paper and glue overlapping the tag at the lower right. Place Dazzles™ as shown.
Unfold the folder once again. Cut 3¼"x4 1/8" Mystic Garden pink collage paper and glue to the right panel. Cut 3"x2 1/8" Mystic Garden blue floral paper, then round the upper left corner so the paper fits the pocket front. Glue centered on the pocket.
Die cut a Gold butterfly and glue to the pocket as shown. Cut a 2" butterfly off the Foiled Fancies sheet and sand. Foam tape to the right panel, then place the Dazzles™ as shown.
Unfold the folder once again. Cut 3¼"x4 1/8" Mystic Garden black collage paper and glue to the panel shown. Cut 3"x2 1/8" Mystic Garden blue floral paper, then round the upper left corner so the paper fits the pocket front. Glue centered on the last pocket.
Cut the 3" butterfly off the Foiled Fancies sheet and sand. Glue to the black panel as shown. Die cut two Gold flowers and three Gold leaves. Glue a flower and the leaves to the pocket as shown, then foam tape the second flower on top of the first. Place Dazzles™ as shown.
For the tags: Die cut two 2¼"x4½" tags from Mystic Garden pink dotted paper. Glue one on top of the other, then trim ¼" off the bottom. Stamp the matching tag image on it with Jet Black. Die cut a 1¾"x3½" tag from Mystic Garden blue paper. Stamp the matching image on it with Splash, then “happy birthday” with Jet Black.
Glue the blue tag to the pink tag, angled as shown, then attach the coral ribbon to both. Die cut a Gold butterfly. Glue the butterfly and place Dazzles™ on the tags as shown, then tuck both inside the first pocket. Tuck the gift card into the last pocket. Close the folder, bring the ribbon tails to the front, and tie a bow near the left edge.
