Brown & Copper Birthday Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left and cover with cardstock. Cut 4¾"x6¼" Color Me™ corner clock paper, place on the craft sheet, and rub the dark brown chalk ink pad over it until completely covered. Wipe off the excess. Cut out the Color Me™ flower tag and a flower stripe from the Color Me™ stripes paper. Ink both with toffee and let dry completely.
Cut the flower stripe into a 4¾" and a 6¼" long piece. Glue to the brown paper, crossing them near the lower left corner as shown. Glue a length of 1/8" wide gold ribbon near each stripe as shown, wrapping the ends to the back and gluing in place. Glue the paper centered on the card. Punch out the doily papier tole pieces. Stamp “count your life…” on piece #1 with timber brown, then assemble the layers with foam tape as instructed on the package. Glue to the card, ¾" from the top.
Stamp “count your friends…” on the tag with timber brown, then mat on cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue the tag and place Dazzles™ as shown. Knot a 3" gold ribbon and glue to the lock. Knot 4" of ¾" wide rust crepe ribbon and glue to the tag. Foam tape an extra butterfly as shown.
For the inside: Cut 4½"x5½" Color Me™ swirls paper and ink dark brown. Cut a narrow dot stripe from the Color Me™ stripes paper and ink toffee. When dry, glue the pieces as shown. Stamp “happy birthday to you” in timber brown on Heritage border paper with the lacy edge along the top. Trim to 3½"x2 5/8", ink the edges brown, and mat on cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue to the inside and place the Dazzles as shown. Knot a 3" gold ribbon and glue to the handle Dazzle™.
