You have peaked my curiosity. I will have to go watch the videos to see what you all are talking about.

Enjoy your day,
Daria

Just watched the video and it does look so cool but what I got from it is that you need to know about shading etc. which I don't know too much about
Nancy - I think your idea about dipping any alcohol marker into some blending solution would work. So, who's going to try it out to see????

Enjoy your day,
Daria

Nyoka, there are some very helpful videos available to practice shading. Jennifer McGuire is one who has a series, and I like her demos. Actually, Ann Barba has demonstrated several times, as has Gail in either Webisodes or you tube card videos. It definitely takes patience, practice and the right surface.

About these Chameleon Pens - they are cool. My favorite feature is the tiny brush nib! I don't have any, had not seen them before, but I have seen demonstrated by Gail and others the idea of "kissing" another marker to pick up a shade or second color for the next fee strokes that then blends out.

I think Nancy is right that there are ways to duplicate this effect without investing, but if your bread and butter is coloring, it might be a wonderful time saver! I have a young friend who is an anime artist and she is expert at all aspects of color blending to create depth and movement.

Sam, thanks for sharing. Very interesting!

I was hoping for a Christmas tool kit, like shapes of a star, snowflake, sled, tree, presents, etc. Also, I would like to see scripture stamps or stickers.

Default Paper Index

I would LOVE to see an index of thumbnail images of all the various papers PW has currently, or has discontinued. I have some OLD papers, but don't realize they are PW until I see an old product video and one of them crops up. Also, I think it would be AWESOME and COOL to be able to look thru an index of papers when designing projects.

I don't think anyone else out there does this either... but some do leave info on retired products in their archives. But so many of the PW papers will blend together with each other, though they are not from same patterned packs. I would even pay an annual (small) fee to be able to access digitally this information.
