Wink what I would like to see PW carry

Just received an e-mail from Hunkydory... They will be shipping their magazines to the US starting next week. Gorgeous mags.... would be nice if PW could order them so we could buy from PW to go with the "kit's we order.
Would be less expensive for shipping if bought in bulk I am told. lew

What I would like to obtain is a 4x6 background stamp of script, ie text from a book, letter, or sheet music. Much of the pp has script in one of the layers, but I would like to be able to make my own backgrounds. I know there are some companies that used to offer stamps like that, but I would like to see PW offer one.

Right with you Linda! PW has never had the larger stamps I do not think. I have a script stamp with butterflies which I love, but it does limit the uses. I would happily scoop one up. I go through phases with background stamps, kind of like embossing folders, I'll use them on everything for a while and then I put them away and out of sight, out of mind. I think I have my idea for this month's challenge and about a 4x6 area to work like you suggested and I actually want to play - Linda you are on a roll! I didn't know how I would ever use the hungry icon, but I guess, I'm hungry to get in my craft room (I know, that's pushing it), but I do get to eat chocolate then and I'm always hungry for that!

I like background stamps too. I have several from Impression Obsession. Would like to see PW carry some. Both the script and music are good ideas. I also like branches, leaves, flowers and geometries, as well as looks like burlap or linen.

There is an older stamp set with script in both cursive and dictionary style. They are about 1x5 pieces. You can make a seamless repetition with them. I used to use them all the time but sort of forgot about them as my collection grew. A larger image would be nice though. I think the set was called Pretty Patterns.

Well, I just watched the CHA sneak peak from one of my fav designers, Karen Burniston - I can only say (1) glad I've saved my Christmas gift money and (2) OH BOY am I in trouble. I hope PW gets these SOON!!! -- especially Rocky, whiskers and Buster, too cute!!

Karen Burniston CHA 2015 sneak peak The video is about 10 minutes or so but shows how easy they are to use and wow - some great card examples!
